About Me

With my MSW from Hunter College and my advanced post-graduate training and certification in somatic and mindful-based therapy models, I can help you uncover your deeply-held fears and wounds and emerge with a newfound resilience and ability for deeper connection. I am trained in The Hakomi Method, Somatic Experiencing therapy, and Emotion-focused Couple therapy, and draw upon Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Gestalt, and Internal Family Systems. I have had the honor of working with a diverse array of people looking to transform their lives: from leading a restorative justice-oriented group for incarcerated men who have committed murder, to working individually with Vietnam veterans coming to terms with the trauma of their combat experience and sexual assault survivors. In my current practice I most often work with couples deciding whether to stay together or break up and to individuals who just couldn’t shake a feeling of perpetual sadness. I've taught and led experiential workshops for groups across the country and currently serve as a teaching assistant for the The Hakomi Institute.
